Basic equipment of the camper van and to make planning and packing easier for you, we have compiled a camper van checklist for you.

Not included are: TV/SAT and personal items such as towels and bed linen.

A bicycle rack for 2 bicycles (e-bike, payload 60 kg) is available on request.

The reservation is binding upon receipt of written confirmation (conclusion of contract) by the lessor and receipt of a deposit of 50% of the rental cost. Cancellation up to 50 days before the start of the rental period is subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the contract amount, up to 30 days before the start of the rental period 50% of the contract amount, and within 29 days of the start of the rental period 100% of the contract amount or the unused rental.

The minimum rental period is 7 days (1 week). However, you can enquire about exceptions at any time.

As part of the comprehensive insurance, there is a deductible of € 2000 for damage caused by parking, vandalism and accidents. This deductible must be paid as a deposit before departure and will be refunded upon satisfactory return of the camper van.

We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance and excess insurance for damage to the camper van to avoid unnecessary costs. Ask your insurance advisor or find out more online.

There is a one-off service fee of €130, which includes the costs for toilet chemicals, gas, maintenance and a briefing on handover and return.

Please note that the camper van can only be rented on a weekly basis. The rental and deposit must be paid before handover. The handover takes place on Saturday from 12:00 PM (or by arrangement) and the return is due by no later than Friday at 6:00 PM (or by arrangement). A delay in returning the vehicle will incur at least one additional rental day’s charge. Costs arising from a subsequent renter or another person making claims against the lessor due to a delay caused by the renter in taking over the camper van will be borne by the renter. Deviations from the set times for handover and return are only possible by prior arrangement.

Please sweep and clean the camper and empty the toilet before returning it. There will be a charge of €100 if the van is unclean or if the toilet has not been emptied. There is a charge of € 150 for the final cleaning.

Smoking is not permitted in the camper van.

International travel is permitted within the EU, Switzerland and Norway. For journeys outside these areas, the written consent of the lessor must be obtained in advance. Trips to war and crisis zones are prohibited.

Motorhomes are handed over with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Otherwise a handling charge of € 25 will apply if the tank is not full.

The renter is required to treat the vehicle carefully and properly, and to lock it securely. Furthermore, operational manuals and relevant regulations and technical rules must be followed. The operational condition, in particular the oil and coolant levels and tyre pressures, must be regularly monitored. All vehicles are non-smoking. Pets must be authorised in advance in writing by the lessor.

The following are PROHIBITED: participation in motor sports events, test drives, unauthorized commercial passenger transport, the commission of unlawful acts, even if only prohibited by the law of the place of the act, commercial goods transport, subletting or even just lending. The renter is liable to the lessor for all resulting damages.

The minimum age for renters is 21 years. A driver’s license and passport must be presented at the time of vehicle handover. Generally, anyone with the appropriate driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience is eligible to drive. The renter is required to record the names and addresses of all drivers to whom the vehicle is temporarily entrusted and provide this information to the lessor upon request. The renter is liable for any parking fines, speeding tickets, or other infractions.

In the event of any damage, even minor, the renter must provide the lessor with a detailed written report, including a sketch. If the renter fails to produce this report for any reason, and as a result, the insurance refuses to pay for the damages, the renter is obligated to fully compensate for the damages.

In the event of damage, the renter must first obtain telephone or written instructions from the lessor.

For damages exceeding €160, a certified expert or a service station from a motor vehicle organization must be consulted for assessment. If the renter violates these regulations, they are only entitled to reimbursement for those repair costs that predominantly benefit the lessor (§ 1037 ABGB). Authorised workshops must be used for repairs unless they are more than 100 km away.

An accident report must be completed, signed and handed over to the rental company when the vehicle is returned at the latest. In particular, it must contain the names and addresses of the persons involved and any witnesses, as well as the registration numbers of the vehicles involved.

The renter agrees that their personal data may be stored for the purpose of customer relationship management, written communication, and order processing. Necessary data may be transferred to service providers. However, the lessor will not sell or otherwise market your data to third parties.

Furthermore, data may be transferred to authorities responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanours and crimes if there is actual misconduct by the renter or sufficient evidence thereof. This may occur in cases such as false statements about the rental, presentation of false or reported lost identification documents, failure to return the vehicle, non-disclosure of a technical defect, traffic violations, and similar situations.
